The original “Karate Kid” Ralph Macchio tells Hollywood… Wax On, Fuck Off

This is one of the last things I wrote at Funny or Die and it came out AMAZING. Ralph and director Todd Holland were very cool to work with - they came in with this idea of Ralph trying to shed his 30-years-in-the-making nice guy image, and Chad Carter and I scripted out this documentary idea. Really psyched with the scope of the end product.

Plus - as a child of the ’80s who has every image and sound of The Karate Kid burned into his cerebellum, it was highly fulfilling for me to write the stage direction, “Ralph crane kicks a dude right in the mouth.”
